Alabama Trip and House Hunting

Well, after having  Rodney’s Farewell party last Saturday, we went to Alabama the next day to look at the house that we wanted to check out.

Rodney didn’t want any pictures, so I wasn’t able to take a picture of them drinking out the deck.

Sunday morning  when we left for Alabama. We had to stop by at this Space and Rocket Center place where they have a real rocket  put out  in front of the rest area.

We looked at different houses, lots of houses for sale there. Within our price range, but not big enough for our family. There was one that so cool, and so lovely, and yet only 3 bedrooms. We need a minimum of 4 bedrooms and we’ll take one that has more if it suites our needs. One was really perfect, big enough for us, but there was a swimming pool at the back that can be dangerous to the kids, there was a pond in the front yard and it’s not fenced.

We are not looking for a beautiful, newly built houses. We want something that is not only big enough, but safe and we can call a HOME. Sometimes, houses in subdivisions are alright, but houses are next to each other, not enough playground for the kids and so on and so forth. My hubby is so picky when it comes to getting a house. Needs to check the sidings, the heating system and everything that concerns the house. Electrical system, plumbing and all.

We seen this one HOUSE and it matched our needs. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, no swimming pool, no pond, big enough living room, and huge family room, 2 storey. It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood. We have to replace the carpet and repaint the outside, since it seems too gloomy. We only want to brighten the inside, needs some new appliances, but all in all, it’s perfect for us.

Rodney is making an offer on this one, and our realtor is going to negotiate to the seller. And if we are lucky, we will find out something at the end of today or tomorrow. Looking for a house is stressful enough to prolong our agony. We both like the house and it rarely happens. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one. But I don’t want to put too much emotion, since I don’t want to get heartbroken again.

That’s all for today and I hope that you all had a great weekend.

You must still be tired from part and trip to Alabama.Hope you are okay. Anyway you made it there; am glad you have found a perfect house for you and your family though sounds like it is not as great as your dream house. Just like them, I’ll cross my fingers hoping you get this one this time. Yup, doing few works as you said wouldn’t really hurt. Good luck, usap na lang tayo bukas, di ako nag bloghop ngayon eh. Tinapos ko yung mga opps, bumabawi sa two weeks na nasayang noong ma suspend ang account tko sa 3ps. Have a good night, Liza…muahhh
