I can tell you, NO, NO, NO!! Well, I rarely go grocery shopping with the kids. I normally take Wrozlie with me, since she’s easier. Lately, I don’t take her much anymore, since she annoys me too. She would ask to buy this and that, then I would forget what I need to get. Or, she would stand in front of me while I was pushing the cart, so I have a tendency to trip..or when I am contemplating on which brand to buy, she would run off to the next aisle, which makes me really nervous.
Earlier was no different. I took the boys to get a haircut, then afterwards we went to Foodland and got something for dinner. I had Dan, Roan and Wrozlie with me..Gosh! big mistake..They wanted this, they wanted that, “ Mommy, can I get this” “ Mommy, can I get this cookie” “ Nah, I want this chocolate one” Ahhhhhhh! Leave me alone, hehehe! While paying at the register, they seen all this candy machine,and ahhhh! asking for quarters, nickels and dimes…I promised myself, I will not go grocery shopping with kids. Either or, that would be my goal.

hahaha! kids will always be kids, even my kids are already grown up, still they are annoying when they are with me in grocery, coz u forget what you will buy, the tendency is they grab lotsa junks and chocolates plus teens stuff.. grrrrr and the budget is over!!

Well, kids are kids wherever they maybe. It is really preferable to go to the supermarket alone so that you can concentrate on the things you really need to buy. You can bond with the kids elsewhere where it will not upset your routine. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
LMAO! i could imagine kasi ganyan din ako nung bata, gustong gusto ko sumama sa groceries ta magdampot ng kung anu ano.. as of now, behave pa si anzu kaya lagi ko sya sinasama sa mga malls at groceries.. basta wag ko la sya papalakarin dahil di na sya sasakay ng stroller once lumakad.
We have the same sentiments Mommy Liz…Garren is just 15 months old, but knows what he wants. He is very familiar on what he eats so everytime we go the grocery, he would point for these foods. And the moment I put him down from the cart…OMG…he would roam around…that's why I never go shopping without a companion…kids will always be kids…hehehehe.
